Look, we get it, a great deal of time in many Werewolf Games is spent popping out children to fight in the next generation's battles. That being said, it should not be a focal point of the game. Sure, finding and taking a mate is great story for any character in Werewolf, but this is not your chance to play "Furry House." That being said, no Werewolf game is complete without this aspect existing. So, here are the site's official rules:
Each month that you and another PC are trying to have a kid, you need to roll 2d10 (the difficulty doesn't matter) and then @storyteller after your roll letting us know that's what it is for. A member of the Staff will compare the results to a chart they will have access to, and give you an answer. Simple as that.
Now, for those of you that like playing the "how many PCs can I get to sex up my PC" know that there is a risk. At any point in time that a member of the staff decides they wish to do so, they may secretly make the roll on your behalf for that month. The results will be compared to the same chart as above, and you will be told this has happened. Simple as that.
All of these results will be posted onto the Character Sheet thread for the female in the pair. Sorry men, your body isn't the one undergoing changes at that point.
Now, as for "What am I having?" questions. The staff is going to keep a spreadsheet of who has gotten pregnant, which have carried to term, etc., etc., etc., so that we can track renown for those things. That chart is also going list the favored "What am I having? Is it going to be a garou?" answer on it. I can tell you, right now, with 100% certainty that it will say "kinfolk" or "metis." Now, if by some stretch of the imagination this game is still around and kicking that far down the line, and people are still playing their same characters that far down the line, it is very possible that some of these "kinfolk" will undergo a first change. The reasons for this are simple, and are listed here: Detecting Supernaturals
The rest of that information on that chart is going to be given to the mother, including the level of Pure Breed and how much the child will look like each parent. (Have your affairs wisely, people.)
