Eustice Barrow
Children of Gaia Kinfolk
Eustice is a kinfolk that's living on borrowed time, and he knows it. Not only are the medical ailments of having worked in the Eastern Coal Field mines since he was able to lie about his age as a teenager finally catching up to him, but the fact that the Sept of the Moon Bow is cracking down on kinfolk working on the mines again starting to put some serious pressures on him and his family. It isn't easy being one of the oldest kinfolk left alive after the Moon Bow War. Things are even further complicated by the younger kinfolk realizing that, while they will never earn quite as much as the miners have the medical risks involved in the factories that have moved down into Somerset and London are fewer in nature and the Sept leaders are much more tolerant of those working in the factories than those working in the mines.
Eustice is becoming the last of a dying breed of kinfolk; those that put their bodies on the line just as often as the garou, only they do it to support the garou and the entire Sept. Making matters worse, much of his influence and control within the mines themselves seem to have been recently stolen right out from under his nose by Randal Bulkos; a kinfolk that's never even worked under the mountain. Time is quickly running out for the Child of Gaia, and he knows it. Everything he does these days shows that it is only a matter of when before he is made useless living in a single wide.

Connie McCoy
Children of Gaia Kinfolk
One of the few McCoys not to end up in the Fianna or the Bone Gnawer tribes, Connie is something of an oddity, even among the kinfolk of Moon Bow. Beyond the fact that she's a miner (which is a phrase that is very rarely said) she seems to be immune to the ire of the Sept of the Moon Bow, despite the fact that she seems to act in complete defiance of the no mining orders from the Leadership. Nobody is quite sure why she's the only one that seems allowed to work in the mines, but it is rumored that the real reason is because she's not a miner anymore; she's a member of the Secret Society that's been founded by Randal Bulkos and is attempting to inflate their numbers by recruiting others in Eastern Kentucky.
Whatever the reason, this rather cheerful miner is generally left alone by the Sept with the understanding that she must work Black Unicorn's will. There are more thana few betting pools that have started by people wondering when she might come through with her task. When out at the Sept itself, Connie tends to dress rather conservatively; something that has been known to drive Dreams in Technicolor up the wall. Word on the street is that he's been chasing her for years, but she keeps turning him down and going with anybody else, because her persuasions lie in different directions. Nobody has been willing or able to confirm or deny this rumor to date, but it is only a matter of time before the needs of the Nation will come to outweigh the needs of the individual kinfolk.

Miguel Ocastas
Shadow Lord Kinfolk
Part of the new breed of kinfolk that is rising to prominence at the Sept of the Moon Bow, Miguel is one of the few migrant workers that managed to gain legal status in the United States before going to find work at the local industrial bakery in London, Kentucky. A hard worker and dedicated kinfolk, he is setting his sights on bigger and better things, although exactly what those might be remain something that kept only to himself and the other Shadow Lord kinfolk in the region. There is something about the almost willing isolation of the Shadow Lord kinfolk that has not managed to ingratiate them into the rest of the Sept as well as many might wish would happen.
Miguel himself has emerged as something of a leader among the Shadow Lord kinfolk among Moon Bow. It is generally accepted that this is because he's been in the United States for all of his adult life, and has a better grasp of English than many of his fellow kinfolk. The fact that he regularly supplies the Sept with food and funds is also part of the reason that he seems to be so well accepted despite of his stand offish behavior. For those few that manage to actually get close to him learn that he is much more than just the figurehead for the Shadow Lords, he is a trickster and prankster of the highest order.

Rocky Pritchart
Bone Gnawer Kinfolk
We have all known that one guy, and you know the one I'm talking about, the one that nobody likes, everybody can't wait until something bad happens to them, or until somebody steps up and puts them in their place. At the Sept of the Moon Bow, that guy is Rocky Pritchart. The Bone Gnawer kinfolk has continually pushed everyone at the Sept to their breaking point; for his attitude towards the leadership, for his philosophical views, his political views, his attitude in general, his drunkeness, and generally everything about him that makes him who he is. The only reason he's still around, in fact, is that the Children of Gaia, and the rest of the Sept Leadership, are too worried about what political ramifications might come into play if and when they finally put him in his place.
But, his welcome was worn out a long time ago. What used to be feigned tolerance has now turned into open hostility and snarls in his direction. This has had the opposite effect, and has only caused Rocky to double down. He has since begun to drive around the Sept with his Confederate flag, dropping racial slurs, and generally doing everything he can to push someone into taking action. As of yet, nobody has. Some day, somebody will. Rocky seems content with this fact, almost like he believes himself to be some kind of martyr to some cause. Time will tell if he is right, or if he will merely become another dead kinfolk; whose life was cut short for failing to understand that it is never a good idea to push a rage monster too far.

Ma Dean
Children of Gaia Kinfolk
There are some people who claim power because they're the go to person when things go sideways. There are some that claim power because they have power. There are some that claim it because they control the resources. Then there are people like "Ma" Dean, who have power simply because they've been around long enough and managed to gain enough experience that you really should just do what she says or else you're going to be in trouble. Seriously, she knows what she's talking about. This ain't her first rodeo, if you "gna-mean." The middle aged woman has lived hard, worked hard, and has earned her reward. Granted, that reward seems to be camping out in her lawn chair with a bottle of rotgut bourbon and bossing people around, but sometimes that's enough.
The reality is that not everybody can be Katy McKinney. Sometimes, you get the iron fisted dictator with the heart of gold. Sometimes, you get the redneck alcoholic that, in her more sober moments, actually does know what she's talking about and can save your ass if you listen. If you don't listen, you can certainly expect a slap across the back of your head and an "I told you so, dumbass" handed out to kinfolk and garou alike. It has long been said that, if she wasn't right more often than not, she would have been lumped in with Rocky. Then again, the difference is that she's right, and he's wrong as far as the Sept leadership is concerned.

Bailee Clifford
Children of Gaia Kinfolk
There are stories that some kinfolk are generally used only for breeding the next generation. At first glance that is exactly what Bailee Clifford looks like; not even old enough to drink, has already birthed 4 children to her husband, no job, lives in a trailer cooking and cleaning for her husband, and it is expected she will be pregnant again in the near future. From all appearances, that is the exact life that Bailee is living. Then again, since when as life ever been that simple or that easy to understand.
In reality, Bailee is a prize that was won by Holds Falcon's Favor. She was the price of keeping the peace all those years ago. She would be his third wife. In return, the growing Children of Gaia would not use their growing influence to disrupt Old One Eye's control over the Protectorate. The next daughter of any McKinney or cousin of theirs born would be given to Holds Falcon's Favor[ as a third mate. If an when the first two died, she would go from mate to wife. Now the deal is done, and her fate is sealed. She isn't there just to breed children. She's the proof of an agreement, a prisoner in her own home, because she was a chip to be bargained. None will stand up to a Sept Alpha and defend her rights. After all, who really wants to risk a war within the protectorate?

Laura Mae and "Big" Jack Bowlen
Children of Gaia Kinfolk
If there was ever a power couple among the Moon Bow kinfolk, it is "Big Jack" and Laura Mae Bowlen. Laura Mae is one of the head chefs for the state park lodge's dining room, in charge of the dinner service. "Big Jack" runs the only convenient store and gas station in nearby Honeybee, Kentucky. Between the two of them they have more local power and control over what happens around the Sept than any other pair, and they know it. Then again, to them, that simply means that they can get more done for the Sept than any other kinfolk are usually able because they have the pull to make sure things get done right.
There are many who swear that the two were married in an effort to make sure that their children would be in a position to take power from Eustice, once and for all. Then again, the fact that they had been making eyes at each other since Laura Mae came to the State Park to work might mean that there's more to the story than simple control or power. Married a few short years ago, the real question that is on everybody's mind is when the seemingly loving couple is finally going to have a few children and truly become a power family, instead of just a power couple.

Homer Jones
Bone Gnawer Kinfolk
Homer is one of those oddities that very few people really choose to get to know. He never misses a local moot, and has been known to show up when Moon Bow is hosting a Grand Moot. However, that's really the only time that he's ever really around. He spends most of his time up in the hollers just Northeast of the Sept, and really doesn't interact much with anybody. However, it is whispered that he knows something about those hollers, and the Bone Gnawers that live within them, and is something of either a ladies man, or wise man, for the region when it comes to the Bone Gnawer kinfolk.
While nobody is quite sure what's going one, what is known is that, with the exception of Rocky, just about every local Bone Gnawer kinfolk seems to report to, and take orders from, Homer. Whatever the Bone Gnawers are doing up in the hollers, it seems that he is aware of it and he's the one that's trusted with keeping the secrets (or at least, being discreet about who he's sleeping with these days.) While he tends to look more like a standard grumpy individual that wants nothing more than for those kids to get off of his land, with a shotgun in hand, he is actually a rather pleasant individual. At least, as long as you're not a fan of big government, federal oversight, the federal reserve, paying taxes, law enforcement, the military, or generally are in any way associated with any government.

Becky Clark
Fianna Kinfolk
Becky is something of an oddity at Moon Bow. She has managed to work her way into a position of some authority within the state park service. Being transferred to the largest and most visited of the state parks was considered to be a great promotion opportunity for her. However, being a Fianna kinfolk that has been sent down to Moon Bow without much of a Fianna presence to support her has been like throwing her to the lions. There is a great deal of mistrust that is levied against her, and she bears it all with a forced smile and a nod, and attempts to make the best of what has become a not quite welcoming situation.
The one area that Becky seems to be earning a reputation for herself beyond merely her being a member of a tribe that is not entirely trusted, is with her actual "day job." As a state park ranger, and one that is more knowledgeable than most when it comes to Kentucky wildlife, she is quickly elevating herself through the ranks at the state park. Combined with her ability to safely capture and relocate many of the animals in the area, she is becoming something of an animal whisperer among the local kinfolk and has earned more than one look of respect from garou that realized she understands more about lupus communication than many of the other kinfolk. She has even started circulating the idea of officially teaching the other kinfolk in the area how she does this, so that she can earn some favor with the garou of the sept.

Jack and Marilyn Cross
Children of Gaia Kinfolk
Jack Cross is a well known tax lawyer who has raised his family with his wife Marilyn, a teacher and historian, to be respectful and well educated members of the community and sept. They're generally friendly people who often offer a helping hand around Moonbow from helping with paperwork and legal issues to helping teach some of the children where they can that aren't being sent to traditional schooling or may be struggling with it. They don't go too far out of the way stepping on parent's toes, but the parents who could probably use a little more education themselves often seem relieved when a time slot opens up that they're willing to help out their children where they can't.

Laura and Mickey Cross
Children of Gaia Kinfolk
Laura and Mickey Cross are Corbin Cross's siblings, both of them working for the park services around the Moon Bow sept and both of them seem to have their parents cheery and helpful demeanor. While Mickey is an actual Park Ranger, Laura works more in the offices as a park guide or offices, which help aids in directing visitors to some of the best trails that may happen to try to keep them as far from the heart of the sept as humanly possible. They often have a tendency to know who is coming in and out of the park and sept and take note of newcomers and visitors when they're working and able.
